Law enforcement and public safety technology cannot be one-size-fits-all. The Mark43 mission is to empower communities and their governments with new technologies that improve the safety and quality of life for all. Put into practice, our team spends dedicated time creating solutions that work for each of our customer agencies – not forcing them into a mold.

In Florida, Mark43 customers have some unique requirements that have presented a challenge and opportunity for our public safety platform. However, with a dedicated team, we’ve been able to develop the following solutions for agencies in Florida.

Marsy’s Law Compliance

Mark43 has partnered with Florida law enforcement agencies to develop a workflow that streamlines Marsy’s Law documentation right in the Records Management System. This includes a field that documents if a victim was advised of their rights and a simplified non-disclosure workflow to ensure that confidential information is protected.

Statewide-Cloud Provider Approved

Microsoft Azure is the only cloud computing provider pre-approved in the state of Florida. Mark43 is cloud-native and works on both Microsoft Azure and AWS GovCloud for agencies’ specific needs.

Florida Demographic Stop Reporting

Computer-aided dispatch systems in Florida require that officers record specific demographic information each time they make a traffic stop. The Mark43 platform organizes those data collection fields to make data capture quick and easy.

Easy Transition to FIBRS Reporting

Many Mark43 customer agencies are NIBRS-compliant and maintain the FBI standard of crime reporting by using Mark43 RMS. Every time a Mark43 agency goes live, our implementation team works to get our users compliant with their state’s crime reporting standards, including FIBRS.
